What's the law on magic mushrooms?

I don't think it is harsh at all. Drugs are just bad. And hanging around with the "wrong crowd" isn't an excuse since they might be the one who actually started this wrong crowd and enjoys being wrong. And yes, it is also for deterrence since LSD/magic mushrooms are notorious for their after affects. Many people suffer from nightmares after using them and few people actually need psychological help which will use the tax payers money since it will more than likely given on the NHS therefore taking psychologist away from people who have never touched drugs in their life who need extreme help.
