I'm wondering because my friends and I were having a discussion about the topic. Let's say that a non-custodial parent owes a ton of child support and they never pay a single penny. After a few imprisonments and more court orders, they still don't have (and never pay a penny for as long as they live. What would happen to a person like that? Do the prison sentences get longer each time? Assume that the person does not have a job and owns no property whatsoever that can be seized by the government.
