Need advice on what something stands for?

I just met this girl, and we were talking..then one of my friends (a guy) walked past...then the girl said "Wow, he's hot" then I kind of laughed and said "I know that dude" then she said "Wow, I would of never expected YOU having hot friends"...I took this comment as an insult, I would someone to help me on what this comment ACCUALY means
